  1. 01

    Start the work

Run a timer, move a task, or add an entry by hand.

  2. 02

    Keep every detail

The client, project, rate, and notes stay together.

  3. 03

    Prepare the charge

Select hours and items, then create a clear settlement statement.

  4. 04

    Close the balance

Send it, record payments, and see what is still outstanding.

Tools that work together

Everything you need, without assembling a patchwork system

Every action joins the same trail. Less copying, fewer side spreadsheets, and more certainty before you bill.

01

Log work as it happens

Even while switching clients and tasks, every detail lands in the right place.

  • Multiple timers at once

Working for several clients at the same time? Open a timer for each. Each runs and stops independently.

  • Task board (Kanban)

Drag a task to 'In progress' and the timer starts on its own. Drag it out, and an entry is saved.

  • Item-based billing

Work measured by quantity uses a unit price instead of a timer.

02

Charge by your rules

Hours, retainers, fixed monthly work, or items. Each client's math stays consistent.

  • Flexible pricing

Hourly, retainer, fixed monthly, or per item. A separate rate for every client.

  • Rounding and billing rules

Round time to the hour or half hour, per client or project. Precise math, without losing a minute.

  • Multiple currencies

Shekel, dollar, USDT, Bitcoin, and Ethereum. A separate rate for each client.

03

Prepare charges and follow them

From the statement you sent to the last payment, the balance stays clear.

  • Settlement statements

Roll up hours and items into a single statement, and export a fully Hebrew PDF with your logo.

  • Send the bill, get paid

Email the statement to your client, they open it with a no-login link, and you log payments, discounts, and VAT until the balance closes.

  • Dashboard and insights

How much came in this month, by hours, by items, and by project.

04

Work the way that suits you

Phone, computer, Hebrew, or English. Your information and preferences follow you.

  • Clients and projects

All your clients in one place: contact details, rates, and billing history.

  • A dashboard that fits you

Choose which numbers appear and in what order, or start from a ready-made preset.

  • Works on your phone too

Install it as an app on your home screen (PWA), get reminder notifications, and work in full Hebrew or English.

Questions worth settling upfront

Who can use ClockBill?

ClockBill is built for freelancers, independent consultants, and small business owners who need to track work hours, manage clients, and bill in an organized way.

Is it really free?

Yes. Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial of the Unlimited plan, no credit card required. When the trial ends you can stay on the free plan to manage one active client, with no time limit, or upgrade to a paid plan for more clients. Your data is kept either way.

Can I run several timers at the same time?

Absolutely. If you're working for several clients at once, open a timer for each. Every timer runs and stops separately, and every entry lands in the right client and project.

What is item-based billing?

Beyond hourly billing, you can bill by item: quantity times unit price. Save recurring items in each client's catalog, or add a one-off item on the fly. Great for fixes, licenses, or any work that isn't measured in hours.

Is the settlement statement a tax invoice?

No. The settlement statement is an internal summary that rolls up the hours and items to be billed, for your convenience and your client's. It is not a tax invoice or receipt. You continue to issue official tax documents as usual through your invoicing system.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. Data is stored on encrypted servers in the European Union, and every user sees only their own information, even at the database level. We don't sell data and don't share it with advertisers.

Can I export reports in Hebrew?

Yes. ClockBill exports reports and statements as fully Hebrew PDFs with RTL support. There are several designs to choose from, and you can upload a personal logo.

How do I set up pricing models?

Each client gets their own rate: hourly, monthly retainer, fixed monthly billing, or item-based billing. You can also set time rounding per client or project.

How does my client receive the bill and pay?

You email the statement, and your client opens it with a personal link without logging in. Record each payment, including partial payments, and the app updates the open balance automatically.

Can I change how the app looks?

Yes. There are 12 themes, six dark and six light. Your choice is saved to your account and follows you to every device.
